To recharge the battery, you'll first need to take the device apart. From my research and videos, it seems the process involves rocking the top back and forth until it comes off. Then, you can remove the internal components to access the battery.

How to Recharge IGET Bar?

To recharge, you'll need a hobby-grade RC charger. I use a Sky RC e6650, a 50-watt charger. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

• Set Up the Charger: Connect your charger to a power supply. I use a computer power supply with a 12-volt rail.
• Prepare the Battery: Identify the battery terminals—positive and negative.
• Connect the Charger: Use alligator clips to connect the charger to the battery.
• Select Battery Type: Choose the correct battery type on the charger. For a 3.7-volt lithium battery, select either lithium-ion or Lithium Polymer.
• Check Battery Status: Use a multimeter to check the battery’s voltage. If it’s around 3.8 volts, it’s in good condition.
• Start Charging: Begin charging at a low amperage, around 0.2 to 0.5 amps, to be safe. The charger will indicate the voltage and the charging status. Once it reaches 4.2 volts, it will stop charging.
• Charging Process: It takes 8 to 10 hours to fully charge the battery. Keep an eye on the battery and charger during the process to ensure everything is working correctly.
