What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, delivery address, email address and phone number so we can deliver your order and keep you informed. Payment is processed by Stripe; your card details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout page and never reach our servers.
If you post a review, we store the name you choose (or "Anonymous"), your rating and your words. If you sign up for our newsletter or welcome offer, we store your email address.
Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies and local storage
We use a small number of strictly functional cookies and browser storage. None of them are used for advertising or shared with third parties.
- Preference cookies that remember which storefront you are visiting and, where products are age-restricted, that you have confirmed your age. These last 30 days.
- Local storage in your browser that holds your cart, remembers that you have dismissed the cookie notice or welcome offer, and remembers an email address you entered so checkout can be pre-filled.
- Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout page for fraud prevention; see Stripe’s privacy policy.
- If we use website analytics, it is aggregated and does not use cookies or identify you.
How we use your information
To process and deliver orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, answer your enquiries, prevent fraud, and improve the store. If you opt in, we send occasional emails about new products and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the store: Stripe (payments), our email provider (order and marketing emails), our hosting and database providers, and the delivery carrier for your parcel. We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it (for example, tax records). Use the contact page and we will respond within 30 days.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first; you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
